Tamarack Solutions, LLC. strives to be as green as possible. One of the services we provide is Business Asset Redistribution. Every company ends up with assets that are perfectly functional but no longer serve a business need. Most of the time this is in the form of Desktop and Notebook computers or Network and Data Center equipment. While your company may be experiencing growth and replacing computers that are three years old, others are struggling with ten year old equipment that they can not afford to pay full price to replace. This is where we come in. Many “Asset Recycling” services are just that, Recyclers. They break down the components that make up the computers and safely dispose of them. While this service is needed and has its place, if the hardware is still usable it makes more ecological sense to pass the hardware onto someone that can use it. This is where we step in. For assets in the Indianapolis and surrounding counties we will pick up your reusable assets. (ones that still work with little to no refurbishment) test the equipment, and through various means of sales and donations get the equipment into the hands of those who can put it back to use. |
Details of the service:
1.We will act as a “broker” on your behalf. We do not “buy” the Assets from you.
2. We will do what we can to get fair market value for the Assets you entrust us with.
3.All assets will be tested for functionality.
4.Extra services can be added, such as Data Destruction.
5.Any Assets that can not be sold will either be recycled or donated to a charity designated by you.
6.We will keep a negotiated percentage of the revenue generated from the Gross sale of the assets
7.Any expense incurred from testing, transporting, or final recycling of the Assets will be taken from the Gross Revenue. If this creates a deficit you will be billed the difference. It is important that you give us only assets that function or have resale value on the open market.
8.If you wish, your portion of the Net revenue can either be paid back to your company, or donated to a charity of your choosing in your name.
